Patrick Schwarzenegger admits he finds THIS debate ‘frustrating’

Patrick Schwarzengger is currently promoting season three of the popular HBO drama The White Lotus.

Now, he has commented on the inevitable debate about nepotism that has been following him just like any other star kids in the industry.

Patrick is the son of famed actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and renowned journalist Maria Shriver. In an interview published by the Sunday Times, the actor expressed what he thinks about the criticism.

“I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is,” he shared. “Of course, it’s frustrating and you can get boxed in and you think at that moment, I wish I didn’t have my last name.”

However, the young star clarified that he still wouldn’t imagine trading “my life with anyone.”

Patrick also went into more detail, sharing his experience regarding “hundreds of rejected auditions.” And noted that the critics fail to realise that he has attended 10 years’ worth of acting classes.

The actor plays  Saxon Ratliff on The White Lotus season three. His previous credits include Scream Queens, Grown Ups 2, and American Sports Story, among others.
