Alia Bhatt supports husband Ranbir Kapoor on a major public platform

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are among the most popular star couples in Bollywood. However, their public romance has often attracted widespread online criticism for various reasons.

Ranbir has long been the topic of contention in their relationship, where he has been branded as ‘toxic’ and/or a ‘mama’s boy’ on numerous occasions.

Now the doting wife Alia is stepping up to defend her husband’s image in her own way.

Alia recently liked a post on Instagram, which defended Ranbir against such labels by praising his commitment to his wife and child.

Alia and Ranbir are also parents to a two-year-old daughter, Raha.

A fan-page for Ranbir on Instagram shared the screen-grab of a tweet which showed appreciation for the star for including his wife and daughter’s initials in his new lifestyle brand called ARKS.

“If this is a red flag, then I guess its better than every so-called green flag on the internet.” The tweet further said. (sic)

Alia’s like left on the post also attracted many users to leave excited comments in reply, also informing the page that the post has been liked by the star wife.

“Wifey approved it”, another gushed, ending the comment with two red heart emojis.
