Prince William reminisces about hair loss after meeting local

Prince William was spotted making a self-deprecating joke while interacting with locals by England’s Aspray Arena.

During a walkabout, on March 11, the 42-year-old Prince of Wales was positively taken aback after seeing a citizen who had bright red hair.

In the video posted on social media, he was pleasantly surprised by the person’s unique look as the Prince playfully said, "Look at your hair! It’s fantastic."

He further reminisced about his hair expressing his wish to have hair like the resident, stating, "I wish I had hair like that, amazing!" he humorously remarked.

As a part of his duties as the Football Association Patron, the Royal made an appearance at the FA Referee Training Course at Aspray which happens to be the home of Sporting Khalsa FC in Willenhall, England.

The objective behind his attendance at training course was to promote and emphasise its "Reflective and Representative" campaign which focuses on encouraging more people of colour to take part and join in as referees. 

William has never expressed shame for having a receding hairline. In Fact he fully embraces it and has a good sense of humour about it.

"I don’t know if you guys have heard about the Earthshot Prize, but it’s an initiative I started about two years ago now, but it’s been about four years in the making,” he said in a YouTube video shared in July 2023.

"I had hair when it started," he playfully quipped.
