Jussie Smollett's Netflix documentary titled, The Truth About Jussie Smollett?, has recently dropped more explosive claims related to his infamous 2019 hate crime allegations.

The Netflix documentary, according to Radar Online, will explore the “shocking true story of an allegedly fake story that some now say might just be a true story”.

Smollett, last week, in this regard, dished out that he possesses previously unseen video footage that he believes confirms his version of events.

Moreover, the documentary will also feature interviews with police, lawyers, journalists, and investigators who claim to have uncovered new evidence in the case.

The case revolves the 43-year-old's career highly publicised  allegations made by the actor in which he claimed of being attacked by two men, noting that they poured an unknown substance on him, and tied a rope around his neck.

However, authorities later claimed that the TV star staged the attack himself and in 2021, the former Empire star was convicted on multiple counts of disorderly conduct for filing a false police report.

Jussie Smollett's Netflix documentary The Truth About Jussie Smollett? is set to premiere on August 22, 2025.
