Ozzy Osbourne breathed his last on Tuesday, July 22, and new details from his final moments have now emerged.
Aged 76, the Black Sabbath frontman was treated by a crew of medics during the early hours of the day he passed.
As a helicopter ambulance was dispatched near the rock star’s Buckinghamshire mansion on Tuesday morning, locals from the area feared the worst.
“We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health,” a neighbour of the late “Prince of Darkness” confirmed to the Daily Mail.
While a spokesperson for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance further stated, “We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday.”
Moreover, the outlet reported that paramedics “battled” to save the metal legend’s life, which tragically proved unsalvageable.
Ozzy Osbourne’s family, including wife Sharon Osbourne, announced the singer’s death with a joint statement which revealed “more sadness than mere words can convey.”
