James Gunn has recently commented to share his honest take on Trisha Paytas’ baby name.

For the unversed, the 37-year-old YouTuber revealed that she named her third child, a baby boy, Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon, after the famous DC Comics superhero.

Reacting to the name, Gunn told Entertainment Weekly that he finds it cool being named after a comic character.

"I saw that, yes. I think that’s cool! I mean, I hope he does okay in school," the co-CEO of DC Studios told the outlet.

He shared that he also had trouble in childhood because of his unique surname.

"I had a hard time with the last name Gunn, like Tommy Gun, BB Gun, Ray Gun. I'm like, 'Okay, we get it.'" Gunn revealed.

"Is the middle name Gary or something?" he then asked, adding, "Won't he get made fun of at school? Do kids make fun of kids anymore?"

These remarks came after the 58-year-old filmmaker received a thunderous standing ovation at Comic-Con following the success of his latest action-packed film, Superman.

It is worth noting that Superman, directed by James Gunn, was released on July 11, 2025.
