Prince William vs Prince Harry: What sets them apart

Few sibling relations have intrigued people as much as the one between Prince William and Prince Harry. Born into the same world of privilege and wealth, both have managed to carve out strikingly different paths in life.

The Weight of the Crown

As per popular royal commentators, Prince William has had the “burden of heroic” ever since he was born. Most of the time, he is described as calm, collected and reserved, and he is most probably the most ‘functionary’ of the royal personalities. Biographers have indicated that he carries the “future king’s mindset” as he is careful with what he says, is rooted in tradition, and believes in keeping the stability of the royal family.

The Free-Spirited Spare

In comparison, Prince Harry has long been characterized as the more rebellious and outspoken of the two. According to royal specialists, “the spare” concept left him much more balance, but also conjured up feels of agitation. He is very open about his struggles with the uncomfortable feelings of grief and the institution, along with other aspects pertaining to mental illness. According to royal insiders, his decision to ‘step back’ as an active royal is more about pursuing his vision of personal individuality as opposed to the identity people associate with the royal family.

Different Public Images

William is considered to be a representative of continuity, responsible, calm. However, Harry sets himself up as an interrupter, bringing up such concerns as media bias, racism, and the significance of being mentally well. Reportedly, this contrast causes the brothers to look like two distinct sides of contemporary royalty.

Diana’s Dual Legacy

Historians believe that the two princes resemble their mother, Princess Diana. William is her counterpart in terms of grace and commitment to duty, and Harry reflects her compassion and her defiant nature. Collectively, they demonstrate how a legacy can survive in two completely distinct ways.
