Hollywood world is full of happiness, glamour-filled lifestyle and life filled with drama but even celebrities can’t skip fate.

Among the flashing cameras, and race for box office success and fame, there are few actors who never got to see their last movie premiere on silver screen; either they died of illness or met with an accident.

Paul Walker (Furious 7)

The late actor, who rose to stardom by starring as Brian O'Conner in 2001’s The Fast and the Furious, died in a devastating car accident while filming franchise’s seventh installation titled Furious 7 in 2013, which meant he could not complete the movie.

The production team used a combination of his existing footage, stand-ins such as his brothers Cody and Caleb Walker, and CGI to finish the late 40-year-old actor’s character's scenes.

Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever)

Boseman died in 2020 from colon cancer, before the filming of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever began.

The late Wakanda actor’s death led Marvel to completely rewrite the script, shifting the focus from Boseman’s character to his sister, Shuri.

Heath Ledger (The Dark Knight)

Ledger died after finishing filming for The Dark Knight at the age of 28 only in 2008 from an accidental overdose of prescription medications.

The late actor, who played the role of Joker in the James McTeigue directional, was in the process of filming his final role as Tony in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus at the time of his death.

Robin Williams (Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb)

The legendary actor died in 2014 before the premiere of Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb in December the same year.

The film was his last theatrical release, and it featured a tribute to him at the end, saying, "And for Robin Williams, the magic never ends."

Marilyn Monroe (Something's Got to Give)

Monroe, also known as the blonde bombshell, died in 1962 before her final film, Something's Got to Give, was completed or released.

She had been fired and then rehired by the studio but tragically passed away from an overdose of sleeping pills before filming could resume.

Bruce Lee (Game of Death)

The legendary martial artist died at the age of 32 in 1973, leaving behind a legacy as a martial arts icon, while making Game of Death.

Lee’s last movie was premiered a month after his death.
