However, at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards’ red carpet over the weekend, comedian and actress Nikki Glaser – a huge Taylor fan – shared her excitement about the news of the Grammy winner and NFL star’s engagement, which was shared on their Instagram page last month.While chatting with Entertainment Tonight, the 41-year-old star recalled, she woke up from a nap and her phone was full of messages. She thought someone had died, before adding that, Nikki said, “It is the best news."

The Miss Americana star admitted she did not exactly predict it, but she always felt the couple was built to last. After seeing that interview on New Heights, Travis just seemed like the kind of guy you would want your best friend to end up with, the FBoy Island alum said warmly.

She added that, like all Swifties worldwide, Nikki could not have been happier to see Taylor loved and celebrated like that.

Nikki also admired how much Travis adores the Lover songstress, saying that is what every girl deserves and what every guy deserves too.

But the Trainwreck star also pointed out that Taylor and Travis’ engagement might “ruin some relationships” for a surprising reason.

The actress said, "I think it is gonna ruin some relationships", honestly, because a lot of people probably saw that and thought, I deserve that, I deserve someone who is that excited about me, someone who celebrates me like that. People are realising maybe they deserve better.

Nikki Glaser went on to say that the Cruel Summer hitmaker has "raised the bar for young women,” encouraging them to believe they deserve more and can achieve anything they want in life.
