The F1 movie earned $1.8 million in its ninth weekend despite losing 151 theatres and facing competition, resulting in a 32.7% drop from the previous weekend.

Its North American box office total now stands at $185.9 million, with expectations to reach $190 million. Internationally, the film made $6.2 million, a 37.8% decline, bringing its total to $417.5 million across 78 markets.

Combing domestic and international earrings, the film has surpassed $600 million, reaching $603.4 million worldwide and is projected to earn around $620 million globally.

According to Box Office Mojo, F1: The movie has surpassed the worldwide earnings of the Top Gun actor’s Mission: Impossible– The Final Reckoning which made $597 million.

The Troy star’s film has beaten Mission: Impossible 8’s international earrings but trails by $12 million in domestic earnings. F1: The Movie is now the sixth-highest-grossing Hollywood film of the year.

To reach the fifth spot, it needs to surpass Superman’s $604.5 million. The film, starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies and Javier Bardem was released on June 27, 2025.

For the unversed, Brad Pitt’s F1 movie is a racing drama that follows a young driver and a veteran instructor, played by the American actor as the film combines high-speed action and emotional depth.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is an action-packed spy thriller where Ethan Hunt faces his toughest mission yet.

Both films have captivated audiences worldwide as the movies showcase the star’s signature styles with the Seven actor’s film focusing on character development and The Mummy star’s film delivering intense action sequences. Both have well-received by fans and critics alike.
