Let’s revisit the most shocking revelations he made in his memoir:

Harry admits experimenting with drugs

Although there have been many discussions about Prince Harry’s relationship with substances over the years, his honest admission in his memoir is still pretty shocking.

He shared that he took psychedelics for therapeutic reasons, adding that he had smoked cannabis since he was an adolescent.

Moreover, the Duke of Sussex reminisced about a 2016 getaway to California where he got drunk on tequila and took magic mushrooms.

Harry reveals he killed 25 people in Afghanistan

While reflecting on his time as a helicopter pilot in the British army, Prince Harry admitted to killing 25 people in Afghanistan across six missions.

“When I found myself plunged in the heat and confusion of combat I didn’t think of those 25 as people. They were chess pieces removed from the board, Bad people eliminated before they could kill good people,” he explained

Harry struggled watching Meghan's on-screen romance

The Prince made the "mistake" of watching Meghan act in a "love scene" in the legal drama Suits during the early days of their romance.

“I’d witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room. I didn’t need to see such things live,” he wrote.

Harry’s emotional visit to Princess Diana’s crash site in 2007

When Harry visited Paris in 2007, he asked his driver to take him to the tunnel where his mother died in a car crash in 1997.

However, the Prince later admitted that it was a “very bad idea,” as it didn't help him get any closure

Harry learned of the Queen’s death through the news

In his memoir, Harry shared that he found out the Queen had passed away on the BBC news website.

He recalled that he was on a flight when he received the news on his phone, but not through a message from his family.
