Jonathan Bailey surprises family with emotional ‘Wicked: For Good’ screening moment

Jonathan Bailey created an unforgettable moment for his family during a special screening of Wicked: For Good in Sydney, Australia.

On Sunday, November 23, the Bridgerton star and PEOPLE’s 2025 Sexiest Man Alive, who plays Fiyero in the film, quietly slipped into the theater where his sister Katie, brother-in-law and two nieces were seated.

Taking the audience by surprise, Bailey stepped to the front of the room, grabbed a microphone and announced, “I’m here to surprise my sister who’s over here and my two nieces, and her husband.”

As the room erupted into applause, the American actor added with a warm smile, “And I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to watch it with you. enjoy the film.”

In a video captured by Storyful, the Wicked star then jogged down the aisle with his arms outstretched. His sister immediately jumped up, beaming with joy as he pulled her into a tight embrace.
