Kevin Spacey hit with three new lawsuits in London
The High Court has set a provisional trial date for October 2026
Kevin Spacey is facing fresh legal challenges in London after three men filed new civil claims against the actor, alleging sexual assault between 2000 and 2013.
The High Court has set a provisional trial date for October 2026, though it has not yet been confirmed whether the cases will be heard together or separately, according to BBC News.
Spacey has formally denied two of the claims, while court records show he has not yet filed a defense for the third. Representatives for the actor have not commented on the new filings. Spacey has consistently denied all allegations in prior legal proceedings.
One of the claimants, Ruari Cannon, waived his right to anonymity. Cannon alleges Spacey groped him at a party in 2013 while he was performing at the Old Vic theatre, where Spacey was artistic director.
Cannon later appeared in Channel 4’s Spacey Unmasked, a documentary exploring allegations across Spacey’s career.
A third claimant has also brought forward a civil case concerning an incident from the early 2000s, though details remain sealed in court documents.
Spacey was previously sued by actor Anthony Rapp in New York in 2022 over a separate allegation. A jury found Spacey not liable after a full civil trial.
