Nita Ambani stole the spotlight with her handbag. The Mumbai Indians co-owner came into the limelight once again after being photographed carrying an ultra-rare Hermès Himalaya Birkin Bag.
Elevated further with four custom charms that spelled out AKPV, the initials of her grandchildren Aadiya, Krishna, Prithvi, and Veda.
Each charm, created by jewellery designer Ashna Mehta of Bag Bijoux, was crafted in 18-carat gold, set with natural diamonds, and accented with rare Brazilian Paraíba tourmalines, according to Luxury Launches.
The Himalaya Birkin is already considered one of the most coveted handbags in the world, with valuations typically landing in the mid-six-figure range.
Add in the bespoke AKPV charms, including stones, gold, and design labour, and the final look is estimated at a staggering $700,000–$800,000.
