Amanda Seyfried makes a shocking confession about juggling motherhood and fame
The 'Ted 2' star is currently promoting her two movies, both will be released in December 2025
Amanda Seyfried opened up about balancing her career with tough motherhood duties.
“Honestly, right now, it’s really hard,” the actress told Us Weekly, adding, “This is the most I’ve ever worked with two kids… And so, I’m a little bit bananas right now.”
Seyfried and her husband, Thomas, share daughter Nina and son Thomas, a young family that she said made this season especially intense as she promotes not one but two films.
She is currently promoting Paul Feig’s thriller Housemaid, due December 19, and Mona Fastvold’s The Testament of Ann Lee, slated for December 25.
The films, Seyfried noted, are “very different,” and she even warned viewers not to read Freida McFadden’s Housemaid novel, “It will ruin the twists for you,” she teased.
Moreover, the Chloe actress deeply cares about her family; she chose family over red carpets and skipped the 2024 Emmys to spend time with her daughter, a choice that underlines how she’s trying to carve out space for both roles.
