Why did Sofía Vergara’s ex-husband Joe Manganiello leave Los Angeles

Joe Manganiello, who was previously married to Modern Family star Sofía Vergara, has officially moved out of Los Angeles with his current fiancée Caitlin O'Connor.

During a conversation with People, on December 4, the 36-year-old actress revealed that she and her fiancée left LA and relocated to their childhood city, Pittsburgh.

Now, the newly engaged couple have settled in Mount Lebanon, Penn., a suburb of Pittsburgh, which Caitlin describes as a “recent move” for them.

Speaking for herself and the 48-year-old actor, she opened up about how Los Angeles had been a home for them for more than two decades.

“L.A. has been both of our homes for over 20 years,” Caitlin shared, adding, "I was born in L.A., but raised in Pittsburgh, so we're both from the same hometown."

The actress even went on to share that she and Joe, previously married to Sofía Vergara for seven years until 2023, have grown closer through their common ties to Pennsylvania.

"That's what we really connect on, you know, we share the same upbringing, the same hometown knowledge. And that's what really connects us as a couple," she revealed to the outlet. "So it's beautiful to be back home together.”

Caitlin went on to open up about the neighborhood and gushed over how "safe" it feels and how it looks like a "postcard" came to life.

“I've never been in a more beautiful neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It's just idyllic,” she added.
