Heidi Klum steals the spotlight at FIFA’s Big Night in Washington
Heidi Klum sparkles as football legends gather the pre-draw event
Heidi Klum ensured all eyes were on her as she arrived at the 2026 FIFA World Cup pre-draw reception on Thursday evening.
The 52-year-old supermodel brought Hollywood glamour to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., dazzling in a strapless, figure hugging red sequin gown.
She added height to her frame with matching red heels and kept her accessories understated with the actress’ long blonde hair styled in soft waves.
The Project Runway star smiled for photographers and greeted fans gathered along the red carpet.
Former England defender Rio Ferdinand also made an impression, opting for a sharp beige jacket over a black t-shirt and coordinated trousers.
The ex Manchester United star is set to take center stage on Friday night as one of the hosts conducting the official draw.
He will be joined by broadcaster Samantha Johnson and several iconic athletes, including Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Aaron Judge and Shaquille O’Neal.
The draw begins at 5 p.m. GMT at the Kennedy Center and can be streamed on FIFA’s website or YouTube channel.
Viewers can also watch on the BBC and iPlayer in the UK, Fox and Fubo in the U.S., and SBS and SBS On Demand in Australia.
This year’s tournament will be the largest ever, featuring 48 teams competing for a place in the final at New York’s 82,000 seat MetLife Stadium on 19 July 2026.
