Perry first sparked romance rumours with Trudea in July after split from Orlando
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau stepped out together in Japan this week, joining an official engagement that included a meeting with the country’s former Prime Minister.
Perry kept her look polished in a brown cropped jacket and matching miniskirt for the visit, where she and Trudeau were photographed alongside Fumio Kishida.
The current Japanese Prime Minister shared the moment on Instagram, writing, “Former Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau came to Japan with his partner, Katy Perry, and had lunch with us.”
Kishida reflected on his past work with Trudeau, noting their efforts to strengthen ties between Japan and Canada, including the Nikka Action Plan.
Perry and Trudeau first sparked romance rumours in July after both ended long-term relationships.
Trudeau split from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023, while Perry and Orlando Bloom ended their engagement earlier this year.
