Sydney Sweeney’s hairstylist claps back at ‘MAGA vibes’ viral video

Sydney Sweeney’s hairstylist has fired back at critics accusing the Euphoria star of serving “MAGA vibes” during her recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

According to Radaronline.com, the backlash ignited after Internet personality Blakely Thornton mocked Sweeney’s look, claiming it leaned into conservative aesthetics and blasting her hair as ‘the stiffest wig.”

Thornton said, “I don't want to keep talking about this white girl, but I'm very aware that at this point, her and her team of what I assume are white, Republican, self-hating gays are committed to the bit.”

He added, “The stiffest wig this side of the Mississippi unless you want to get read for filth,” later captioning a clip, “Sydney Sweeney's gays must be MAGA.”

Thornton escalated the feud with screenshots of an alleged exchange with the actress’ hairstylist, Glen “Coco” Oropeza.

According to the screenshots, Oropeza allegedly wrote, “Wasn't a wig but you can't get my girl's name out of your mouth. You're obsessed.”

A second message read, “Stiff where? You're doing a lot ... Take a breath, diva… Imagine caring this much about a hairstyle you didn't create and a woman who doesn't know you exist. Goodnight.”

Thornton answered, “I hope you get paid overtime for being a sycophant after 9pm PST… And you're right, Black people are tired ... very much so ... good luck on the rest of the press tour.”

Social media users also piled on, with comments like, “Oh my god they Mar-a-Lago'd her,” and “Giving Ivanka Trump realness.”

Moreover, Blakely Thornton has repeatedly slammed Sydney Sweeney's fashion choices and previously trashed her lavish birthday party attended by Bezos, saying it looked like "the third circle of hell."
