Led by Cillian Murphy, the highly anticipated Peaky Blinders film will be coming to theatres — but only in a limited window.

The forthcoming release is called Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man and can be seen at the cinemas starting March 6, before its debut on Netflix March 20.

“The legendary gypsy gangster Tommy Shelby returns in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. In select theaters March 6 and on Netflix March 20 2026,” the official Netflix page shared on Instagram.

Featuring the film’s first-ever look, Murphy appeared in a gritty still as his renowned Brummie gangster character, sat atop his equally memorable black horse.

The film’s official synopsis reads: “Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders…”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot “is set in Birmingham, England in 1940, 21 years after we first met Shelby.”

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is written by the original show’s creator, Steven Knight, and will be directed by Tom Harper. While Cillian Murphy will be joined by other stars like Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Stephen Graham among the cast.
