Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s personal fortune has surged to an incredible $749 billion. This historic surge follows a decisive ruling by the Delaware Supreme Court to reinstate Tesla stock options valued at $139 billion.

These options had been voided last year, but the recent judicial intervention has officially propelled Musk’s wealth into uncharted territory, according to the Forbes billionaires index.

The court's decision effectively restores Musk’s 2018 compensation agreement. While a lower court previously dismissed the deal as "unfathomable" two years ago, the Supreme Court ruled that the 2024 rescission was both inequitable and improper.

This legal victory comes on the heels of another massive milestone earlier this week, when Musk became the first individual to exceed a $600 billion valuation.

That growth was largely fueled by speculation regarding a potential public offering for his aerospace venture, SpaceX.

Investor confidence remains high, as Tesla shareholders recently approved a separate, record-breaking $1 trillion pay plan.

This reflects a collective endorsement of Musk’s strategy to transition the electric vehicle manufacturer into a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics.

With this latest financial gain, Musk’s net worth now dwarfs that of the world’s second-richest person, Google co-founder Larry Page, by a margin of nearly $500 billion.
