Ashton Kutcher's rare remark on ex-wife Demi Moore

Ashton Kutcher is giving accolades to his former spouse, Demi Moore, 15 years post their separation.

The actor was speaking about his upcoming FX show, The Beauty, when the topic arose regarding its relation to Moore’s highly praised 2024 film, The Substance.

“Firstly, Demi’s work in The Substance was clearly impressive, the recognition she received is well deserved, I’m incredibly proud of her, she was outstanding,” Kutcher expressed to Entertainment Tonight.

“I believe the broader picture is our society's growing acceptance and prevalence of cosmetic procedures,” he added. “It’s intriguing how in two decades, this trend has increasingly become more apparent.”

The movie star mentioned he felt “extremely proud” of his ex-wife for her celebrated role in 2024’s “The Substance.” 

In Ryan Murphy’s “The Beauty,” Kutcher depicts the inventor of a substance that grants tremendous beauty but has deadly repercussions.

In “The Substance,” Moore embodies an older star who takes an illicit drug that rejuvenates her appearance, bringing unforeseen consequences.

Moore took home a Golden Globe, a Critics' Choice Award, and a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award thanks to her role in the movie.

Kutcher, 47, and Moore, 63, began their relationship in 2003 and tied the knot in September 2005. They parted ways in 2011 following six years of marriage, and their divorce was finalised in 2013.
