Sean Penn and Valeria Nicov spark buzz with rare public outing

Sean Penn, American actor and filmmaker, was spotted enjoying a casual outing with his girlfriend Valeria Nicov in Santa Monica, California, on January 14.

The Oscar-winning actor and the 30-year-old model were photographed walking hand in hand during a relaxed shopping trip, coordinating in black-and-white outfits.

Penn wore a white button-up shirt layered under a blue blazer, paired with black trousers and white sneakers.

Nicov opted for an all-black look, styling a turtleneck beneath a peacoat with matching slacks and sneakers, accessorized with a baguette bag.

The sighting comes days after Penn attended the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, where he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for One Battle After Another.

Nicov did not appear alongside him at the ceremony.

Penn and Nicov were first linked in September 2024 and made their red carpet debut two months later at the Marrakech International Film Festival, where Penn received a career achievement honor.

They were most recently photographed together at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2025.

Before Nicov, Penn was previously married three times and has been linked to several high-profile relationships.
