Jacob Elordi was seen shielding Margot Robbie from the rain on the red carpet at the London premiere of Wuthering Heights on Thursday (February 5).

As the pair dodged the wind and rain of London, Elordi, 28, smiled as he rushed in to shield Robbie, 35, from the downpour as she made her way down the carpet without an umbrella for photos.

The moment mirrors a scene from the upcoming film originally seen in the trailer.

On the carpet, the co-stars continued to lean into method dressing. Robbie wore a semi-sheer pale pink corset-style gown with antique gold braided boning and a long train with intricate hair and feather detailing designed by London-based designer Dilara Findikoglu.

Elordi wore a monochromatic slate gray tailored Bottega look, complete with a long suit jacket and coordinating silk tie.

In a recent cast interview with Fandango, Robbie reflected on collaborating with her fellow Australian star.

“I'm so codependent with people I work with and I love everyone so much and I'm always that person who's so devastated when a job's over and I never want it to end,” said the Oscar nominee. “I think I developed that quite quickly with Jacob too.”

Robbie then recalled how Elordi hovered nearby as she worked on set. “I don't know if Emerald told you to do this or you did this,” she said, addressing the Frankenstein star, “but I remember the first couple days on set, he would just be always in the vicinity where I was, but like in a corner, watching Cathy.”

The actors will step into the roles of Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff in Oscar-winning director Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Emily Brontë's Gothic fictional novel of the same name, originally published in 1847.

The tragic novel follows a doomed romance between the two leads that spirals into obsession and revenge over the course of several decades, haunting generations of two neighboring families.
