Cruz Beckham announces first North American tour with The Breakers

Cruz Beckham is taking his music across the Atlantic.

The 21-year-old musician – son of retired soccer star Sir David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham – announced on Saturday that he will embark on his first North American tour with his band, The Breakers. 

The tour follows a successful string of performances in the UK and Europe.

Posting on Instagram, Cruz said: “Hello fellow Breakers. We are very happy and proud to announce the second leg of the For Your Love tour. We’re coming to America and Canada. We’re excited to see you there, so get your tickets now.”

The North American leg kicks off in Washington, D.C., on July 28 and will include stops in Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Cruz released his new single For Your Love last month, a romantic indie-anthemic track produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov. The music video features his band and a cameo from his grandfather.

Speaking on talkSPORT Drive, David Beckham praised his son’s dedication to music: “Cruz has been working on his music since he was about eight or nine years old. 

He’s all of a sudden got a band together, released an album, and they’re doing incredibly well. They’ve been traveling around the UK and Europe. I’m very proud of him because he’s worked really hard.”

Offstage, Cruz has also been navigating family tensions. He recently expressed hope for reconciliation with his estranged older brother, Brooklyn Beckham. 

When asked about Brooklyn’s recent 27th birthday, Cruz replied simply, “Happy birthday,” adding, “I hope so,” when asked if they could repair their relationship.

The public exchange comes amid ongoing disputes between Brooklyn and their parents, David and Victoria, stemming from his wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022. 

Cruz appeared to reach out on social media with a heartfelt birthday post for Brooklyn, sharing a throwback photo and writing, “I love you,” despite the family rift.
