Frankie Grande credits sister Ariana for vocal guidance ahead of 'Titanique'
Now, the siblings support each other purely as fans and colleagues on stage
Ariana Grande has once again proven that sibling support runs in the family.
The pop superstar recently offered her brother Frankie Grande crucial vocal guidance ahead of his return to Broadway in Titanique.
The 43-year-old actor revealed to E! News that he sought Ariana’s advice while battling a stubborn sinus infection.
“I asked her vocal advice. I did because I was having trouble because I had a sinus infection,” Frankie explained.
Frankie, who originated the role of Victor Garber in Titanique’s Off-Broadway run, had been steaming for up to an hour and a half daily in an attempt to clear his congestion. Ariana, however, quickly pointed out a more effective approach.
“She was like, ‘Bro, you're over-steaming.’ And I was like, ‘You can do that?’” Frankie recalled. Following her guidance, he cut his steaming sessions to 15–30 minutes, and the results were almost immediate. “She was like, ‘Chill! Do 30 minutes. Do 15. Stop.’ And I got better after that,” he said.
Frankie also reflected on his early role in helping Ariana navigate the Broadway stage during her formative years.
“It was fun because I kind of raised her. She was raised coming to my Broadway show and then immediately she was on Broadway. In those days I was her mentor for a lot of time,” he said.
Today, however, the siblings’ dynamic is less about mentorship and more about mutual support. “Now it's just coming to the audience to support each other. Because we know what we're doing at this point,” Frankie noted.
