Chris Pratt reveals how Hawaii storms 'destroyed' 'Jurassic World' set
A significant part of Jurassic World history vanished during last month's fierce storms in Hawaii
A segment of Jurassic World history was swept away in the recent destructive storms that struck Hawaii.
Chris Pratt recently disclosed that the cottage belonging to his character, Owen Grady, in the 2015 sequel directed by Colin Trevorrow, “was destroyed” by a fallen tree during the successive storms that dumped 2 trillion gallons of rain on Hawaii.
“Can I share something about this?” Pratt mentioned to Entertainment Weekly while observing an image of the setting.
“I just received a text from my buddy Jason Morgan, who resides on this ranch, and a storm came through yesterday, causing this tree to topple onto [Owen’s bungalow]. It got destroyed yesterday,” added Pratt. “Apologies, Jason.”
Pratt’s comments follow Jason Momoa's revelation that he and his family had to escape from O’ahu’s North Shore as Hawaii’s Kona lows, or seasonal cyclones, triggered the most severe flooding in 20 years.
“I have my family with me,” he conveyed in his Instagram Story. “We got away from the North Shore, many have been curious. Our power went out. We’re safe for now, but many weren’t, so we’re sending all our love.”
Momoa commented, “The North Shore is pretty intense right now. Hopefully, everyone’s safe and getting out. Stay safe out there.”
