Todrick Hall has finally revealed that "Style" is his favourite track from Taylor Swift’s extensive discography. Speaking to People magazine at the opening night of "Cats: The Jellicle Ball" on Broadway, the 41-year-old performer explained his deep connection to the 2014 hit.

"One of my favourite songs is 'Style.' Something about that guitar lick at the beginning of 'Style' just immediately transports me back to that place," he remarked.

Mr Hall, a renowned dancer and choreographer, praised the track for being exceptionally well-written and imaginative, noting his admiration for the way the pop sensation utilizes lyrics to craft vivid stories.

The relationship between the two artists dates back several years, though "Style" was released before their professional collaboration began.

Mr Hall famously appeared as a backup dancer in the 2017 "Look What You Made Me Do" music video during the "Reputation" era.

He later took on a more significant role as the co-executive producer for the 2019 "You Need to Calm Down" video.

During that project, Miss Swift publicly lauded her friend’s work ethic, describing him as someone who is "very generous with his effort and time" and noting that he often deserves more credit than he seeks.

This revelation comes as Mr Hall continues to make waves in the New York theatre scene. Having previously worked with the "Bad Blood" singer during both her "Reputation" and "Lover" eras, he has remained one of her most vocal and loyal supporters in the industry.

As he embarks on new stage projects, his appreciation for narrative-driven music continues to influence his own creative choreography and vocal performances.
