The tribute included throwback footage of the two artists meeting years ago
Justin Timberlake has shared a heartfelt tribute to Justin Bieber following the pop star’s widely discussed comeback performance at Coachella 2026.
The NSYNC frontman posted a nostalgic video on Instagram that included early footage of him meeting a young Bieber alongside his wife Jessica Biel, as well as clips from Bieber’s recent performance at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
“I know this has been a long road. And I know it’s not always a smooth ride. I’m proud of you — and you should be proud of you too. Sending love @lilbieber,” Timberlake wrote in the caption.
Bieber’s Coachella set marked a significant moment in his return to large-scale live performances, with fans noting a more grounded and emotionally reflective stage presence.
His appearance included renditions of several hits and a surprise performance of Timberlake’s classic Cry Me a River, which drew strong audience reaction.
The set also featured a memorable moment when Bieber invited Billie Eilish onstage during One Less Lonely Girl, adding to the night’s viral highlights.
Timberlake’s tribute, paired with archival footage and recent clips, highlighted both artists’ shared history and Bieber’s ongoing evolution as a performer.
