Hannah Neeleman shares baby girl’s name after weeks of indecision
The couple announced their daughter's name almost two months after her birth
Hannah Neeleman has revealed the name of her ninth child, nearly two months after welcoming the baby with husband Daniel Neeleman.
The couple shared the update in a joint Instagram post on April 29, offering a glimpse into their family life in Utah while introducing their daughter as Greta Jean.
“First two months with miss Greta Jean,” Hannah wrote alongside a series of photos and videos featuring the newborn with her parents and siblings.
The announcement comes after the couple previously admitted they were struggling to choose a name for the baby.
After revealing her birth in early March, Hannah said the decision had proven more difficult than expected, describing naming children as “not for the faint of heart.”
Part of the challenge, she explained at the time, was that the couple had kept the baby’s sex a surprise during pregnancy and had initially expected to welcome a boy. Hannah had even considered naming a son after her husband.
The couple had shared a shortlist of potential names, including Beatrice, Bonnie, Sylvette and Dani, before ultimately settling on Greta Jean.
The newborn is the couple’s sixth consecutive daughter and joins eight older siblings, making her the latest addition to the large Ballerina Farm family.
