Princess Charlotte marks eleventh birthday with growing reputation as style icon

Princess Charlotte is celebrating her eleventh birthday today, Saturday, marking a significant milestone in her journey as a burgeoning style icon.

Since her world debut at the Lindo Wing in 2015, the only daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales has captivated the public with a wardrobe that seamlessly blends traditional cuts with modern elegance.

According to HELLO! Fashion Editor Laura Sutcliffe, the young royal's style evolution has been an "exciting watch," noting that Princess Kate has consistently dressed her daughter in well-made, classic pieces that remain age-appropriate.

As she has matured, Princess Charlotte has begun to showcase her individual personality through a variety of accessories, including Pandora charm bracelets, hair bows, and stylish sunglasses.

Her fashion choices often mirror those of her mother, such as the polka-dot Safiyaa dress she wore to Wimbledon in 2024, which was reminiscent of a previous look worn by the Princess of Wales.

On Christmas Day 2025, the young royal reached a new sartorial landmark by stepping out in her first coat dress by Catherine Walker, a designer famously favoured by both her mother and her late grandmother, Princess Diana.

Sutcliffe remains optimistic about the royal's future fashion path as she approaches her teenage years. "I do not doubt that she will retain her style ethos and explore the wonderful world of regal fashion further," she remarked, adding that the Princess of Wales sets the finest example for the young royal.

Princess Charlotte was born in London and is currently third in the line of succession to the British throne.
