Singer and actress Hilary Duff made a striking return to the spotlight at the 2026 American Music Awards, dazzling in a metallic silver gown during her first appearance at the event in more than two decades.

Duff, 38, arrived at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, May 25, wearing a sleek silver dress featuring a V-neckline and form-fitting silhouette. She completed the look with matching silver heels and understated accessories, while styling her blonde hair in a voluminous blowout with soft, natural makeup.

The appearance marked Duff’s first time attending the AMAs in 21 years, last having been seen at the ceremony in 2005.

She is serving as a presenter at this year’s show, joining a lineup that includes names such as John Legend, Lisa Rinna, Nikki Glaser, Paula Abdul and others.

This year’s ceremony is hosted by Queen Latifah, who returns to the role more than 30 years after co-hosting the AMAs in 1995.

The 52nd AMAs feature performances from artists including Teddy Swims, Twenty One Pilots, Maluma, Karol G, Billy Idol, and New Kids on the Block, among others.

Duff’s return to the AMAs comes during a busy period in her career resurgence. Earlier this year, she released her first album in over a decade, luck...or something, and embarked on her “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” tour after more than 10 years away from live touring.

She also recently made headlines for her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut, appearing as a 2026 cover star photographed in South Caicos.

The 2026 AMAs are airing live from Las Vegas on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ Premium.
