Katie Price reportedly supporting husband Lee Andrews amid Dubai arrest
Andrews has denied all allegations related to fraud, restrictions, or wrongdoing
Katie Price is reportedly continuing to support her husband Lee Andrews after he was arrested in Dubai, with new reports suggesting he may need to pay a significant financial sum to secure his release.
Andrews, 43, was reportedly taken to Al Awir Central Prison last month in connection with what has been described as a “private civil matter.” While earlier speculation suggested possible allegations linked to espionage, more recent accounts indicate the case is primarily financial in nature.
According to reports, Andrews could be required to pay more than £100,000 before he is released from custody.
A source told The Sun that Price has been actively involved in efforts to resolve the situation, including visiting courts, police stations, and prison authorities in Dubai.
“Katie is desperately trying to get Lee out of prison,” the insider said. “Despite everything that’s gone on, Lee is her husband, and Katie wants to get him out and get the answers she so badly needs.”
The source added that Price has made multiple visits to the prison while attempting to process the necessary paperwork for his release.
“To be released, Lee will have to pay over £100,000,” the insider claimed.
Andrews has previously denied allegations that he is a conman or that he is subject to any travel restrictions in the UAE. He has also rejected claims relating to financial disputes, including allegations tied to loans and mortgages.
The businessman and Price reportedly married earlier this year following a brief relationship. Some reports have also suggested Andrews was missing for around two weeks before news of his arrest emerged.
Price has previously stated that Andrews will eventually need to address the situation publicly due to growing speculation surrounding the case.
