Nicole Williams English reveals Khloé Kardashian helped bring her back to reality TV

Nicole Williams English acknowledged that Khloé Kardashian played a key role in her return to reality television, saying the Kardashian star made "a couple of phone calls" that helped launch a new Hulu series.

Speaking on PEOPLE's WAG World series, the model and former WAGS cast member reflected on how a casual conversation about getting back on TV quickly turned into an official project.

Khloé Kardashian Helped Kick-Start the Show

English, 42, said she has been friends with the Kardashian sisters since her early days on E!'s WAGS, where she appeared as an original cast member between 2015 and 2017.

She recalled that she, Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson had long discussed returning to television after fans repeatedly asked for more of the trio.

According to English, Halcro and Pierson shared the idea with Khloé Kardashian during a birthday party while she was out of town.

"She texted somebody and made a couple of phone calls," English said. "A couple of weeks later, we were on a Zoom. A couple of weeks later, we were filming a pilot. I was like, 'Wow, that happened fast.'"

New Hulu Series Follows Khloé's Inner Circle

The upcoming Hulu reality series, The Girls, is executive produced by Khloé Kardashian and follows members of her close-knit group of friends.

The cast includes Nicole Williams English, Natalie Halcro, Olivia Pierson, Malika Haqq, Khadijah Haqq and Yris Palmer.

English described the series as "an L.A. version of Sex and the City," promising fashion, friendship, motherhood and plenty of drama.

"We are like a L.A. version of Sex and the City. You're going to see a lot of really good fashion," she said, adding that viewers can also expect parties, family moments and relationship ups and downs.

Reality TV Return Nearly a Decade Later

English said returning to reality TV feels like a full-circle moment after appearing on WAGS, where viewers followed major milestones in her life, including her engagement to former NFL player Larry English.

The couple married in 2017 and welcomed their daughter, India Moon, in 2023.

Now, nearly a decade after WAGS ended, English said she is excited to reunite with her longtime friends on screen and give fans a fresh look into their lives through The Girls.
