Sean 'Diddy' Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after an alleged fight with another inmate at the federal prison where he is serving his sentence.

The reported altercation took place at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey and was first reported by NBC News and TMZ, citing a source familiar with the incident.

Reports say inmate insult sparked altercation

According to TMZ, the confrontation began after another inmate allegedly insulted Combs. Prison staff reportedly intervened quickly and brought the situation under control.

Neither report provided further details about the incident, and prison officials have not publicly commented.

Combs serving sentence at Fort Dix

Combs, 56, is incarcerated at the low-security FCI Fort Dix federal correctional institution, located on a military base outside Philadelphia.

He is serving a prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution following his 2025 federal trial.

The music mogul was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Release date remains unchanged

Combs is currently scheduled to be released in February 2028, after previously receiving credit for time served while awaiting trial in New York City.

It is not yet known whether the reported prison fight or placement in solitary confinement will have any impact on his projected release date.
