Taylor Swift's sister-in-law Kylie Kelce celebrates LeBron James' move to the 76ers

Kylie Kelce welcomed LeBron James to Philadelphia after the NBA superstar announced he will join the Philadelphia 76ers for his record-breaking 24th NBA season.

The podcast host celebrated the blockbuster move on social media, while James said he is determined to help the 76ers compete for another championship.

Hours after James confirmed his move to Philadelphia on July 24, Kylie shared an Instagram Stories post featuring a sky banner that read, "Welcome King #23."

She added a simple message over the photo: "go sixers."

Kylie and her husband, former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, have long expressed their affection for the city they call home.

Speaking to Philadelphia magazine recently, Jason said, "We love Philadelphia. There's an aura to the city that is infectious."

Kylie echoed those feelings, describing Philadelphia as the community where they are raising their family.

LeBron eyes another NBA title

James also shared his excitement about beginning the next chapter of his career.

In a statement posted on X, the four-time NBA champion said he is motivated by the opportunity to compete for another title rather than financial reasons.

"I still want to sacrifice. I still want to work. I still want to grind. I still want to compete, to win and to have a chance at the feeling of winning another championship."

He added that he believes he can help turn the 76ers into a championship-winning team while energising a new fan base.

NBA legend begins new chapter

James spent the previous eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning an NBA championship with the franchise in 2020.

Before joining the Lakers, he captured titles with both the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

During the past two seasons, James also made NBA history by becoming part of the league's first father-son duo to play together alongside his son, Bronny James.
