Katie Holmes hints at close bond with Jason Bard Yarmosky after joint appearance

Katie Holmes has fuelled speculation about her relationship with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky after revealing the pair share “similar taste” while making a joint appearance at a high-profile event.

The Dawson’s Creek actress and the 38-year-old artist attended Ferragamo’s pop-up dinner at Topping Rose House in the Hamptons on Saturday, where they coordinated their outfits in matching navy tones.

Holmes, 47, completed her look with an orange handbag, while Yarmosky added a splash of colour with a red neckerchief.

When asked about their coordinated style by Elle, Holmes smiled and replied: “I think we just have similar taste.”

The appearance comes weeks after the pair sparked dating rumours when they were photographed holding hands in the Hamptons on multiple occasions. Although neither Holmes nor Yarmosky has publicly confirmed their relationship, they have continued to make appearances together.

Earlier this month, the rumoured couple attended a screening of Olivia Wilde’s new film The Invite, where witnesses said they appeared comfortable and affectionate throughout the evening.

“He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing. They seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night,” an onlooker told People.

The source added that Holmes rested her head on Yarmosky’s shoulder during the screening before the pair attended the film’s after-party, where they were seen chatting with friends.

If confirmed, the relationship would mark Holmes’ first public romance since her brief relationship with musician Bobby Wooten III in 2022.

Before that, the actress was in a long-term relationship with Jamie Foxx following the end of her marriage to Tom Cruise. Holmes and Cruise, who divorced in 2012, share daughter Suri, now 20.

Holmes has previously spoken about keeping her personal life private. 

During a 2016 interview, when asked about dating after her divorce, she avoided discussing future relationships.

“That’s not something I want to answer,” she said.

“I don't have a five or 10-year plan. I feel like I'm still a teenager in a lot of ways. I do a lot of things I did then. I paint, I colour. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl.

“I don't quite feel like a woman, maybe because I'm the baby of my family. I'll probably be 90 and feel like, ‘Not a woman yet!’”
