Alia Bhatt's viral Deepfake video shocks fans

Alia Bhatt has joined the list of top Bollywood stars who have fallen prey to the AI generated deepfake videos.

A digitally altered video of a girl in a blue co-ord set with floral patterns on it, has Alia’s face morphed onto it.

The girl can be seen making indecent gestures while looking at the camera leading the audience to believe that it is in fact the Gangubai actress who is in the video.

However, Alia Bhatt is yet to respond to the on-going controversy.

The A-list Bollywood celebrities who suffered controversies due to deepfake videos are surprisingly high.

Kajol, had to endure a controversy as an AI generated video depicted her changing clothes on camera and filming it, which was later declared as a fake video.

In reality, it was a social media influencer, Rosie Breen, who had filmed the video as a part of the Get Ready With Me trend.

Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif also fell victim once a picture, edited through deepfake started circulating on social media where the attire of the actress had been changed into a white top and matching bottom.

It was in fact, a poster of the movie Tiger 3 where Katrina was in the middle of an action scene wearing a towel around her.

To note, Rashmika Mandanna was one of the first Bollywood actresses to be targeted in this concerning string of events where an altered video of hers went viral.

It showed an anonymous woman walking out of the elevator with Rashmika’s face edited onto her leading fans to believe that it was actually the actress herself.
