Influencer found dead three days after vanishing during beach outing in Brazil

Tamyris Teixeira Santos, a Brazilian content creator known for sharing her life as a lawyer and martial artist, has been found dead at the age of 36, days after she was reported missing.

According to local reports, Santos’ body was discovered on Botafogo Beach and later identified by her family on April 22. She had been missing since April 18, when she was last seen at Leblon Beach.

Santos had been spending time with friends before entering the water for a swim in the late afternoon.

When she did not return, her belongings were left behind, prompting concern. Her family was alerted the following day after beach staff noticed the items had not been collected.

Local fire officials said sea conditions were considered stable at the time of her disappearance and confirmed that no rescue calls were made that day.

Witnesses also reported that the group had been consuming alcohol earlier in the afternoon.

In the aftermath, Santos’ mother publicly questioned the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s death, noting the beach was crowded at the time and expressing doubt over how the incident unfolded.

Santos had built a following of more than 18,000 on Instagram, where she regularly posted lifestyle content alongside training videos in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai.

Her profile reflected her passion for fitness and the ocean, often highlighting her active lifestyle.

Her last post, shared just days before her disappearance, showed a simple selfie captioned with a heart emoji.

Tributes have since poured in across social media, with friends and followers expressing shock and grief over her sudden death, remembering her as vibrant and full of life.
