Noah Schnapp is celebrating a major milestone after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
The 21-year-old actor, best known for playing Will Byers in Stranger Things, shared the news with his 26 million Instagram followers over the weekend. Posting a carousel of graduation photos, Schnapp captioned the images with the iconic line from Legally Blonde: “What, like it’s hard.”
Schnapp enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania in 2022 to pursue a degree in business, balancing his studies with filming the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. He also minored in film during his time at the Ivy League university.
In previous interviews, Schnapp said he chose business because he wanted to explore something beyond acting.
“Acting was just kind of repetitive, and I wanted to try something new,” he told Flaunt magazine.
The actor had also launched TBH, a sustainability-focused snack company, and said his Wharton education and classmates provided valuable insights into entrepreneurship and product development.
During his freshman year, Schnapp told Teen Vogue he was excited to experience college life, meet new people and gain independence. He opted to live in a dorm to enjoy what he called “the real experience.”
The graduation was made even more special as Schnapp’s twin sister, Chloe, also recently earned her degree from Northeastern University.
Adding to his eventful weekend, Schnapp made his debut at the Cannes Film Festival in France, where he attended the premiere of The Beloved.
The accomplishment marks a busy and successful year for the actor, who has managed to balance Hollywood stardom with academic achievement.
