Country star Morgan Wallen has taken a light-hearted approach to his now-viral piano-flipping incident, poking fun at himself in a TikTok video posted on Monday.

The 33-year-old left audiences stunned the previous Friday when he suffered a dramatic on-stage outburst during a concert in Denver.

After the piano appeared to malfunction mid-song during a performance of "Sand in My Boots," Wallen flipped the instrument over, leaving it in pieces.

In his TikTok video, the singer appears wearing headphones, standing behind a gleaming red piano, and addresses his followers directly. "Hey, I just want you to know that right now this piano is working."

He then undercut the reassurance with a dry aside before removing his headphones and turning away from the camera. "That's what they told me last night, too."

Fans rally behind the country star

The self-deprecating clip went down well in the comments section, where supporters were quick to back the singer. One fan wrote, "my bro has some issues but he's funny at least," while another declared, "and this is why you are my favorite!"

Wallen is currently midway through his Still The Problem Tour. Despite the chaos that unfolded on the Denver stage last Friday, he managed to complete "Sand in My Boots" — though without the piano, performing the track entirely a cappella to the crowd's surprise.

Concert-goers greeted the unexpected destruction of the heavy instrument with a mixture of gasps and cheers.

A history of wild concert moments

The Denver incident is not the first time Wallen has made headlines for outrageous behaviour on stage. During his I'm the Problem Tour in June 2025, the "Cowgirls" singer literally set the stage ablaze in Houston.

Legal troubles and a chair-throwing arrest

The concert antics are not the only instances in which Wallen has appeared to lose his composure. In April 2024, he was arrested after he threw a chair over the railing of a rooftop bar.

The matter was resolved in December 2024, when he was sentenced to one week at a DUI education centre and placed on two years of probation.

Following that episode, his attorney released a statement to Page Six. "Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved."

"Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation."

Kristin Cavallari's candid revelations

Separately, in December 2024, Kristin Cavallari made headlines when she revealed that Wallen had been a "great f–k buddy" during a period when the two were romantically involved in Nashville.

The "Laguna Beach" alumna, 39, disclosed during an appearance on Bunnie Xo's "Dumb Blonde" podcast. "He was good in bed!"
