Usher has finally released the music video of his new song Boyfriend on August 16, 2023, featuring Keke Palmer.

The 29-year-old actress and singer has been under spotlight since her appearance at the Yeah! singer's  recent residency show in Vegas, as she was called out by her beau for wearing a racy outfit.

Now, when the Nope actress has graced the music video of the DJ Got Us Fallin In Love Again crooner's new song Boyfriend, fans are assuming that she it is seemingly an attempt  respond to Jackson's rather derogatory and controversial remarks on Palmer's outfit.

The newly released song opens with a bedroom scene in which Palmer can be seen rocking a white colored night gown, as she sits in front of  vanity mirror.

While her gal pals waited for her, the 4 minutes long track has a melodious beat with a very meaningful lyrics.

On Wednesday the Keep It Movin songstress shared the music video of Usher's song on her Instagram.

“Usher! I remember when I was 12 and auditioned for “In The Mix” You have been killing it all my life. As a true lover of the arts, your talent and craftsmanship are a rare combination that I aspire to achieve as a performer," she wrote in the caption of her song.

"You are a living legend who is worthy of awe! Thank you for encouraging me and seeing me as the entertainer I am. I know I’m a gUrL but when I watched your videos, I never wanted to be the girl in them, I wanted to be YOU. Thank you for making a dream come true," Palmer added.

Usher also acknowledged the Wind Up singer's feelings and enthusiasm in the comment section as he wrote, "my goal as artist is to make things that people feel..things that make the next  generation inspired to chase their dreams. Thank You for inspiring me and being inspiring."
