Momin Saqib, Ducky Bhai refute rumors surrounding India's visa denial for ICC World Cup

Pakistani influencers Momin Saqib and Ducky Bhaihas have refuted the rumors suggesting that the social media stars' respective visas to visit India were rejected, ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023.
The speculations ignited when the ICC World Cup 2023 event was set to be held in India and many Pakistani fans including the team faced long delays in getting their visas.
According to information circulating on social media, YouTubers Nadir Ali, Momin Saqib, Saadur Rehman, also known as "Ducky Bhai," along with a TikToker based in the UAE who pretends to be Pakistani under the name "Love Khaani," have reportedly not received visas for the upcoming mega event.
Momin, who is famous for the Maaro Mujhe Maaro meme guy, took his X9 former Twitter) account to refute the rumors, and added, “There's news circulating that my Indian visa got rejected. Just to clear the air, I haven't even applied yet!”
He added, “I'd also like to take this opportunity to emphasise on the importance of fact-checking & verifying news from authentic sources before spreading misinformation, Thank you”
In response to these reports, Ducky Bhai stated that there are unverified rumors suggesting that he had applied for an Indian visa for the ICC World Cup 2023, and it was subsequently denied.
He posed on his X account, “There are some rumors circulating that I applied for an Indian visa for ICC World Cup 2023 and it got rejected. Please know this is completely FAKE news. I never applied for any visa related to this event. Always check the facts before believing and spreading any news.”
For the unversed, many Pakistani fans and journalists are still awaiting the issuance of their visas for the major tournament.
Pakistan is scheduled to participate in two warm-up matches: one against New Zealand on September 29 and another against Australia on October 3, both to be held in Hyderabad.
Pakistan will kick off its World Cup journey against the Netherlands, followed by the highly-anticipated showdown against arch-rivals India at the Ahmedabad Stadium, which boasts a seating capacity of over 130,000, on October 14.
India, on the other hand, will open the tournament by playing against Australia on October 8.
The ICC World Cup event comprises 48 matches scheduled over a span of 46 days, taking place at 10 different venues, with the grand finale set for November 19.
