Olivia Rodrigo and Noah Kahan have left fans wanting a duet after  their appealing covers of each other's songs.

On Thursday, November 23,  when Noah Kahan performed Olivia's hit track Lacy on an episode of BBC Radio 1, she couldn't resist gushing over Noah's impeccable singing skills.

Taking to her Instagram account, the get him back! songstress shared the video of the Dial Drunk singer on her story with the caption that read, "@noahkahanmusic covering Lacy is the coolest thing that ever happened 2 me."

Not only the singer but her fans also  fell in love with Noah's version of the song, as the video on the BBC Radio 1 swamped with the comments, with words of praises.

“He really made it his own, it sounds so so good,” a fan wrote. 

While another noted, “This is such an interesting way to cover the song. It gives off a completely different vibe than the original.”

BBC Radio 1  posted a clip of the 26-year-old artist's gig  on their official Instagram account   and captioned the post saying, “@noahkahanmusic performs @oliviarodrigo’s ‘lacy’ in the Radio 1 Live Lounge. Listen back on @bbcsounds.”

The post further mentioned how Olivia Rodrigo had covered Noah’s song on an episode before and this cover by Noah was a response to her. 

“When Olivia covers Noah, Noah covers Olivia back,” the caption alongside the video read.

Olivia  performed her version of Noah's song   Stick Season,  on October 2, 2023 at BBC Radio 1.

 They posted her performance on their official Instagram account saying, “This cover was EVERYTHING. Hear @oliviarodrigo’s version of @noahkahanmusic’s ‘stick season’ on @bbcsounds or watch on @bbciplayer.”

The cover songs of both the Grammy nominated artists has fans craving a duet from the pop songstress and the folk singer.

Shortly after, a collaborative edit of the two singers covering each other’s songs was posted by BBC Radio 1 with a caption noting, “We’ve gone full circle, in october @oliviarodrigo covered ‘stick season’ by @noahkahanmusic, now noah has replied with a cover of olivia’s ‘lacy’ that’s live lounge magic!!”

The fandom of Olivia and Noah could did not hold back  as they swamped up the comments section with the requests for a collaboration.

One fan suggested, “Okay now that Olivia has covered Noah and he covered her, we can get a collab.”

“So now we need a duet between him and Olivia. It would be a masterpiece,” another noted.
