Selena Gomez announces social media hiatus for beau Benny Blanco

Selena Gomez has yet again announced break from social media to focus on “what really matters” possibly referring to her boyfriend Benny Blanco.

Taking to her Instagram story on Tuesday, the Calm Down hit maker shared an adorable video of the East Side producer, in which he could be seen laying on the floor, with two kids playing with him, who were bombing Blanco with kisses.

“focusing on what really matters” wrote the Single Soon songstress, adding, “I’m off social media for a while."

This is not the first time Selena has announced social media break, previously in October, when the war between Gaza and Israel started, the Only Murders in the Building actress revealed that she would be stepping back from her socials "because my heart breaks to see all the horror, hate, violence and terror that’s going on in the world."

This Instagram story comes shortly after the Wolves singer’s video of gossiping with bestie Taylor Swift at the 2024 Golden Globes went viral, in which she was seen spilling some interesting and juicy beans to the Anti-Hero crooner and Keleigh Sperry.

The viral video sparked frenzy on the internet as many fans assumed that Taylor and Selena were gossiping about Kylie Jenner and her beau Timothée Chalamet

However, she quashed the rumors surrounding her and Swift by sharing a screenshot of a news website with a headline, “why Selena Gomez gossiping about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at the Golden Globes? Here’s the truth.”

“Nooooo I told Taylor two of my friends that hooked up, not anyone’s business,” wrote the 31-year-old singer in the comment section.
