Prince Andrew downfall set to explore in new Netflix film focusing on Epstein ties
Prince Andrew life is to be turned into a major documentary by a film company working closely with Netflix
Prince Andrew found himself at the centre of yet another cinematic examination of his life as a production company closely associated with Netflix delves into his "character arc."
According to the reports of Daily mail.com the upcoming film will delve into the Duke of York's transformation from being regarded as a 'war hero' and the 'Queen's favorite' to the scandal surrounding his intimate association with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
This controversy ultimately led to his withdrawal from royal duties in 2019.
The project is in the hands of the acclaimed production company Sandpaper Films, recognized for its collaboration with leading streaming services such as Netflix, Apple, and Amazon.
Sandpaper has produced multiple films about the Royal Family, such as the 2017 movie 'Diana, 7 days,' which examined the late princess's final days and included interviews with Prince William and Prince Harry.

Additionally, the company has taken on projects covering diverse topics, ranging from the war crimes trial of Bosnian Serb military leader Ratko Mladic to the 2012 case involving the Rochdale sex trafficking ring.
Producers are reportedly interested in approaching Alistair Watson, the former private secretary of Prince Andrew, who served the Duke from 2003 to 2012.
The insiders suggested it could pose challenges for Prince Andrew, as Watson is familiar with sensitive information.
Initially hired to support the Duke in his role as the UK trade envoy, representing the government globally after leaving the Royal Navy in 2001, Watson witnessed Prince Andrew navigating various controversies in the position.
These included allegations of vacationing with a Libyan gun smuggler.
The Duke resigned from the role in 2011 amid reports of his visits to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in New York following Epstein's release from jail.
Respected author Andrew Lownie, known for bestselling biographies, is reportedly serving as a consultant for the documentary.
He is currently working on a biography about Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, focusing extensively on the Duke of York's tenure as a trade envoy.
