Florene Pugh got candid about her upcoming marvel movie, Thunderbolts, which is all set to kick off production after multiple delays.
During her conversation with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, for the promotion of Dune 2, the Yelena Belova actress shared some exciting updates on the film, also disclosed that she will soon head to Atlanta, where the MCU's Thunderbolts is set to begin filming.
“It kind of feels like it still might not happen because of the amount of times it has been paused, which is just a natural feeling. But I’m going straight after this," revealed the Oppenheimer alum.
She continued, "When we’re done with press, I’m going to Atlanta and start doing some prep and do a bit more press with you guys, and then I’m off — I’m shooting."
The Don't Worry Darling actress went on to explain, "And it’s wonderful. When we shot Black Widow, we thought we were going to shoot the next movie relatively sooner than we did, and it’s just been this thing that’s been looming, that we’ve been waiting to shoot at some point in the future, and now it’s finally happening, so it feels surreal, but it's coming back. Yelena's coming back."
To note, Florence Pugh is not the only returning member of the MCU cast that will appear in Marvel's Thunderbolts; other returning members include David Harbour's Red Guardian, Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell's John Walker, and more.
Pugh is currently promoting her upcoming film, Dune: Part Two alongside, Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler.
The 28-year-old actress is reprising her role of Princess Irulan in Dune's sequel, scheduled to release on March 1, 2024.
