Joe Alwyn has reportedly placed a ban on any questions regarding their relationship, especially in light of Taylor Swift's recent lyrical revelations in her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

According to the reports of DailyMail, the source shared that, the Conversation With Friends actor has been left “disappointed” but he banned any mention of the Lover crooner from the upcoming press tour for his new film, Kinds of Kindness.

The source shared, “There has been absolutely zero contact between them,” a source exclusively told DailyMail.com “She did not run these songs by him, but he did not expect her to.”

They added, “Joe has listened to the album, and he is slightly disappointed, but not surprised at all.”

The insider continued, “She didn’t really trash him or defame him. Joe is not going to react to this.”

It is also reported that the source elaborated that Joe was well acquainted with Taylor's songwriting approach, particularly due to their collaborative work on certain tracks.

“Taylor draws on her relationships for almost all her songs and he admires her artistry,” the insider added.

They also revealed, “He has made a ton of money off the six songs that he wrote for Taylor in the past and he is grateful that their relationship also helped to make him a household name.”

“He has a movie coming out that he is focused on,” the sourced stated. “He will be doing press – but will not be entertaining any Taylor questions.”
