Tina Knowles has opened up about advice Beyoncé shared with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter in dealing with negative comments online.

During a conversation with Vogue's The Run Through podcast, the fashion designer discussed her granddaughter's appearances in Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour.

Blue Ivy gave an electrifying performance on stage to My Power and Black Parade.

Knowles said her granddaughter’s performance was “the best” and how “every night her dad and me would get on this platform out there and we would just be screaming our heads off, like, with no shame at all.

Beyoncé's mother revealed that her granddaughter came across with online hate after her performance but the Halo crooner gave valuable advice to cope with it.

She said, “One of her friends came back and showed her some negative comments and it was a great life lesson because her mom basically said, ‘Listen, if you let this get you down, then they won. So you should go and work harder.”

Knowles said, “And, you know, just work harder and get your skills together and go out there and blast it.

Additionally, Beyoncé and Jay-Z share Blue Ivy Carter and 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
