Lana Del Rey is ready to plunge into matrimony, having secured a marriage license to wed alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene.

As the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court confirmed to PEOPLE, Del Rey, 39, and Dufrene married on September 23.

Thirty days have elapsed since they submitted their marriage application.

The Summertime Sadness singer and the Louisiana boat captain had been friends for a number of years; in fact, Del Rey posted photos of himself with the Dufrene on Facebook in 2019 during one of his nature excursions.

"Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours," she captioned a set of images on Facebook.

In an Instagram post from May 2024, Del Rey mentioned Dufrene and seemed to be calling him her "guy."

The singer and her two siblings were included in the picture, with her message reading, "Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene @codyjay."

A short video of the artist strolling hand in hand with a Dufrene at the Leeds Festival, where the singer was headlining, was posted by a TikTok user in August 2024.

Del Rey made her affair public on September 7 when she and Dufrene attended model Karen Elson's wedding to Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster in New York City, where they were accompanied by Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

As they exited the event, the duo was pictured holding hands and looking put together in blue suits.
